Policies and Procedures

It is our pleasure to present the event venues as your marketplace and we will work with you to provide a quality show that you the artist/vendor can benefit from and enjoy. The policies and procedures are in place to ensure your success and ours alike so that we both may thrive in this industry.

General Policies Include:

Refunds:
Please submit all refund requests in writing to

Be sure to include:
1) Reasons for Request
2)SASE
3)Show Name and Date in which you are requesting a refund for
4)Contact information including: name. phone number. email

As a policy j & Co does not provide Boot Fee Refunds however will accept requests and make determiniations on a case by case situation if the request is provided in writing 60 days prior to the show date.When space is available in your medium we may accomodate vendors/artists bymoving their application to another event date.

Application Fees are Non-Refundable! If granted a refund it will only be for the booth fee amount that has been paid.
 
If you are granted a refund it will be submitted via check only. The refunds are mailed 30-60 days after the request has been placed.
 
Set Up:
Artists/Vendors are not permitted to set up without signing the vendor rules agreement that will be presented at check in. For a list of those rules please call or email the office and one will be provided to you. Each show is different and therefore carries specific regulations regarding: weighting techniques, load in/load out, set up, etc..

A list of set up/break down requirements will be mailed with your information package. Please call the office if you have not received your package at least 2-3 wks prior to the show date.
 
Jury/Wait List:
All j & Co Shows have a rolling jury therefore once we are full in a particular category we will utilize a wait list or cease to accept applications. This is specific to individual mediums and the show in general. The jury is only for acceptance into the show. j & Co shows are typically not judged at the show.
 
If we are no longer accepting applications for your particular medium you will be contacted and have the opportunity to be placed on a Wait List. To be on the Wait List you must pay the application fee and submit your application along with your photos. You may wait until a booth space has opened up in your medium to pay the booth fee.
 
Weather Policy:
All shows are Rain or Shine. j & Co at this time does not allow for a rain date. All weather updates will be provided on the website and/or information will be provided on the j & Co voice mail for artists and vendors. In the case of bad weather do not assume a show has been cancelled please contact the office.
 
No Show Policy:
If a vendor/artist is a No Show without a phone call at least within a 24 hour notice the artist/vendor will not be invited to participate in other j & Shows and forfeits any fees that have been paid. If the artist/vendors is not present at least 1 hour prior to the show time they forfeit their reserved space. This is to ensure a successful show and prevent empty pockets throughout the venue. Once the artist/vendor arrives the event coordinators will make every effort to provide them with a space.If an artists breaks down prior to the close of the show without prior permission from show coordinators they may not be invited back to participate in future shows.

Special Requirements:
If an artist/vendor has a special needs requirement the j & Co staff will make every effort to accommodate the request. We regret that due to safety and logistics we are not able to provide a solution to every request however please still ask and we will do what we can. We want to ensure everyone has a successful show!
